Peach Days

Welcome to Peach Days 2022, September 1-3

Peach Days - A Celebration of Our Heritage

Welcome to our 24th annual “Peach Days: A Celebration of our Heritage!” We are excited to share another year of “hometown fun” as we gather at the “old town square” on this 2022 Labor Day weekend. We welcome friends, family, acquaintances and new comers alike.

As always, there is something for young and old alike, and you can come for free or spend a little cash.  You can start the Peach Day’s week off with a couple of tournaments (Tuesday - golf, Wednesday - pickleball), and a Wednesday night concert by John Houston and Nic Chamberlain!

The main event officially begins Thursday Sept 1 at 5:00 pm when we open with all the displays, quilt show, food, commercial and homemade sale booths, carnival, and three stages of continuous entertainment! Friday adds the rodeo (at the NEW rodeo grounds), the theatre presentation “Little Mermaid”, a Foam Dance or the “Encanto” Movie in the Park. Saturday extras include the Fun Run,  Hurricane Canal Treks, parade, HHS All Class Reunion, Pioneer Corner, and Peach Cook-off.  The entire event will close at 10:00 pm for another year.

We hope you will join us at one more year of celebration and good old-fashioned fun and entertainment. It is a great time to meet old friends and make some new ones. It is the best ending to a beautiful summer in our great Hurricane Community. Come make some memories with us at Peach Days! See you there!

Each year community members are encouraged to enter the Fine Arts; Home Arts; or Garden, Canning, Baking and Small Farm displays. Without the community participation, we could not have these displays. Please start now to work on an item to enter! All entries receive a ribbon with a cash award. No previous entry/application is necessary. These items are to be entered for the display/judging Wednesday August 31, 2022.
