2012 Seasonal Employment Opportunities and Training
We will be accepting applications starting April 16. Applications may be picked up and turned in at the Hurricane Community Center (Monday - Thursday, 11 am - 8pm). You also download the application by clicking here.
Applications DUE BY 8:00pm on April 26 @ the Hurricane Commuity Center.

Interviews are mandatory for the positions listed in the table below.
See below also for a schedule of pre-season training, certification, and re-certication classes available for these positions. Class sign-ups begin March 27, 2012 at the Hurricane Community Center or online. Class sizes are limited - register early!

Water interviews will be held for all Lifeguard positions on Wed, May 2 at 3:00 pm @ the Hurricane City Pool.
Management interviews will be held on Wed, May 2 between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm @ the Hurricane Community Center.
Lifeguard interviews will be held on Thurs May 3rd between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm @ the Hurricane Community Center.
Front Desk interviews will be held on Thurs May 3rd between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm @ the Hurricane Community Center.
Swim aide will be held on Friday May 4th between 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm @ Hurricane Community Center.
Pre-season Training, Certification, and Re-certification
Pre-season training, certifications, and re-certification courses are available for persons interestd in working at the pool. Sign-ups begin April 18, 2011 at the Hurricane Community Center or online. Class sizes are limited - register early!
American Red Cross Lifegaurd Training - $130.00
- Wednesday, April 25 - 4 pm - Mandatory Pre-Test (pre-test must be passed to proceed with class)
- Thursday, April 26 - 4 pm - 8 pm
- Friday, April 27 - 4 pm to 8 pm
- Saturday, April 28 - 9 am to 5 pm
- Monday, April 30 - 4 pm to 8 pm
- Tuesday, May 1st - 4 pm - 8 pm
American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) -
